In the sand dunes of the Belgian seaside village of Oostduinkerke, interior architect Pieter Van Renterghem has designed a modern minimalistic house to reside during the summer months. The coastal home is filled with natural materials and soft colors, impacting the mood and atmosphere and creating a perfect safe haven to find peace and serenity during holidays. Being a master of warm minimalism and modern Belgian design, Pieter Van Renterghem asserts his design language through the entire house. Timelessness was an important factor in the design of the space, given that the owners of the holiday home plan on permanently moving here in the future.

As the Belgian seaside is the perfect spot to cool down during hot summers, Pieter fostered an indoor-outdoor relationship in his design. Large windows were placed at the side of the swimming pool, letting in an enormous amount of light and creating a warm and open feeling to the natural surroundings Oostduinkerke has to offer.
