Laura Pasquino is an Estonian ceramic artist who finds her creative haven in the vibrant city of Amsterdam. Rooted in a profound connection with nature, Laura’s functional vessels and sculptures are inspired by the forces and formations of the natural world, celebrating rawness and irregularities to embrace the object in its purest state. She expresses herself through the textures and organic nuances of clay, devoting most of her designs to spherical forms. While highlighting the character of each sculpture through earthy colours and strong textures, her pieces radiate simplicity and balance above all.

Traces of her artistic journey such as fingerprints infuse her work with a soulful essence, prioritizing character over perfection. Laura aims to balance traditional techniques with organic clay textures, often leaving her works unglazed to showcase the material’s humble beauty and embracing the clay’s innate allure. Laura Pasquino’s pieces are a striking embodiment of minimalism, creating harmonious sculptures in pure forms that celebrate the beauty of simplicity.
